Great Cooks Rise With the May River Tide

The May River provides not only the ingredients in the numerous shrimp, crab and oyster recipes found in this book, but also many of the activities for residents of this Lowcounty paradise. The members of the historic church on the river's bluff have compiled a celebration in words and art of the area's unique lifestyle and glorious southern food traditions. Some favorite recipes include: Buckingham Gumbo, Blue Cheese Pull Aparts, and Yellow Grits and Shrimp. Proceeds benefit outreach ministries-community and beyond.
