SHIPPING RATES & POLICIES
Our flat rate is currently $5.95 per order shipped to a single address within the 48 contiguous states. The goods are shipped USPS Standard (Book Rate). Please note that Standard Shipping is through the United States Postal Service and normally takes from 5-14 days for delivery.
We do not ship to PO/APO/FPO boxes, Alaska, Hawaii or addresses outside of the continental U.S. (sorry, Canada).
ORDER PROCESSING
Orders are generally processed within 24-48 receipt, Monday through Friday (excluding holidays) and shipped with 5 business days.
At Gritlit.com, we strive to bring you the very best assortment of Junior League, community and down-home cookbooks. To that end, we have partnered with select cookbook publishers and distributors to offer their titles on our web site, so that you can find a large collection of regional cookbooks here in one place -- and get low $5.95 flat-rate shipping, to boot. Gritlit.com is responsible for securely processing your order and charging your credit card (via PayPal), processing any returns, and customer service and our publishing partners are responsible for fulfilling and shipping the goods.
PAYMENT METHODS
We accept PayPal (no registration required): American Express, Discover, MasterCard, Visa.
For security purposes, the billing address you provide must match the billing address your credit card company uses for payment; delivery may be to another address of your choosing. Without correct information, we will be unable to obtain bank authorization for your purchase and the order will be cancelled.
SALES TAX
We are required by law to collect appropriate sales tax of 4% on orders shipped within Louisiana.
BACKORDERS & OUT OF STOCK
If you order a product that is currently out of stock, we'll email to let you know the status and give you the chance to decide whether or not you wish to place the item on backorder.
RETURNS & EXCHANGES
GRITLIT has an Iron-Clad Guarantee: We want you to be pleased with your selection and if, for any reason, it does not meet your expectations, we will quickly set about making things right with a prompt refund, credit or exchange. Shipping charges are non-refundable.
If an item is damaged during shipping, please keep the item and packaging, email us right away, and we'll send instructions on how claims are handled.
